Is there a way to fix a chip in a carbon fiber barrel?

Say you have a carbon fiber barrel, and chip the inside tip of the barrel. Not really any affect on performance, but is there any way to repair it for aesthetics or to ensure a smooth bore? Chip maybe 2-3 millimeters in width and length

I would imagine not having a smooth bore would affect performance?
If you're super cheap, you could epoxy it yourself... just don't glob it on.
