my new pump
so I have been wanting a real pump for a while and I have been using a trilly with a pump kit and a local reball guy builds custom ions and hes a top notch builder
I had a spare(3 spare ions anyways) and had him turn the most unliked on into a pump.
by far the sickest pump I have seen
pump stroke is about an 1/5 of an inch its awesome
not to mention my awesome hitman mod that hes never added to any other guns

Be forewarned that this will not qualify as a pump at most pump events.

oh trust me I already know that. for some reason we allow these in reball though and its insane. I also some times get bored of semi on the field but dont want to play pump so this is perfect.

Hey guys, I am the builder of the pump Ion, that jdub has talked up. Just to clarify some info on my build:
No it is not a true pump, it is pneumatic.
Pump stroke is about an 1/8 inch.
I could probably make a longer pump stroke, but everyone seems to like them as they are.
I use a Pneumadyne micro valve, with a custom trigger, actuator.
This is the 3rd one I have built, the first for someone else. Hope it holds up to his expectations.

What do you mean by "a real pump"?
That Trilogy is more of a "real" pump than a pumped Ion is.

accuracy has nothing to do with the marker. all paint leaves the gun at the same speed and the same trajectory. the only thing that affects accuracy would be apex or flatline barrels, and first strike rounds.

I think it looks pretty cool, but my first gun was an Ion and I had such horrible days with it on the field.

Or paint-bore match, especially in a pump or a closed-bolt gun. A .683 paintball will fly a lot better in a .683 (or slightly smaller) barrel, than it would in a .690.
