What size pants do you recommend for someone who usually wears 34x34 pants? I'm concerned that the XL will be gigantic in the waist but the L will be too short.

I too wanted to know how the sizing was? I'm a 38x32 in my everyday clothes and I was looking at these pants,but wanted to know how close to the advertised sizes they ran.

Very close to their size chart. I've got some husky measurements, being 5'7, 38 waist, 30ish inseam (31 is closest to my natural inseam, so usually go up to 32 to avoid highwatering). Had XL Valken Crusades that were indeed long (XL is 34 inseam) but waist was great. However, the legs were wide on me, like clown pants.

u238 - Large is 33 inseam, so just a tad short, but you won't be swimming in them like you might be with the XL.

I am 5' 6" with a 32" waist and a 30" inseam. I use the medium but I think a large would have been better. I think they run a little small.
