Magfed Shocker?

So I've been toying with this idea for a number of years, and with the recent advances in magazine-fed technology, I may have a practical means to do it.

I want to build a top-fed mag-feeding Shocker (likely an SFT, since they're cheap and have flat sides.) I'd probably remove the feedneck, then make a mount that clamps on and holds the mag in place, while depressing the mag's internal detent.
I'm really liking the looks of the new DAM magazines, mostly because they're double-sided, and come in multiple sizes; not to mention they are flat-topped, which imo would require a less-elaborate mount/magwell.

Am I crazy? Are there any glaring flaws in my logic that someone would care to point out before I blow a ton of money on a partsgun shocker and some DAM mags?
Any suggestions in how to go about doing this?

I'm going to try to start collecting materials; but I may not be able to start the actual build this summer due to my college schedule. Any suggestions in the meantime are appreciated.

I'd prefer to make something with limited capacity; plus, the Qloader is enormous.

You could maybe attach a magazine to the side of the SFT and then use a Qloader/warpdrive style hose system to feed balls into the feedneck.

I dunno. just kinda pulling ideas out my ***.

heres what you do. take one of those 10 round tubes from a stock class pump player. put some duck tape around it so that it's diameter is big enough for your feedneck. put 10 painbtalls in the tube. dunzo.

No, I want to mount a spring-fed magazine, and possibly even mod it for first strike.

Thanks for your valuable suggestion; I am so indebted to you for your contribution

I love to play magfed/limited capacity; but most of the more common magfed markers are obnoxiously loud, have terrible shot quality, or both; and the DAM is too damm expensive.
