Exalt barrel kit?
Hey guys,
I was searching around on goggle the other day for some different barrel kits and I came across an Exalt barrel kit that looked kinda nice, a lot like a shaft kit. However I could only find two pics of it and almost no info. Did they ever make this, and how long ago? Also how common were they? I mean if I put up a wtb thread what are the chances of someone having one?

The pic I saw did have a case that labled each piece (tip, small, med, and large bore) but like I said I couldn't find much info on it so it could have pictured it with a different barrel though I didn't recognize the barrel

If you get a chance do a goggle image search for "exalt barrel kit" and you can see the picture I'm talking about. Let me know what you think of it

Not DYE at all... could be CP made, but I've never seen one with that specific shape, either.

Yes exalt did make barrels a few years ago, but I don't think they do anymore. I had one on my old Ego8 and they shot pretty straight.

So I just found out that the exalt barrel was made by CP and actually interchangable with CP tips so good guess

Yes they were good quality barrels. Not sure if they still sell them. CP makes barrels for a lot of different manufacturers and of course their machining is top notch.

So I found an exalt barrel used that was just the tip and one back which I'll probably just freakbore. I havnt used it yet but it does look like a nice barrel but I have a question for anyone that has owned one, is there suposed to be an o ring on the back of the tip? It looks like there a grove for one.

Looks like it has an o-ring on the tip but not on the backs. That undercut on the back is probably for clearance purposes when they manufacture the thread.
You could put an o-ring on the back if you wanted, would not hurt anything as long as you size it properly.
