I think dm8s shoot the best. Mine out shoots dm11s and dm10s any day. Not sure about a dm9 cause I've never shot one

Dude I couldn't decide so I bought a dm8 and a dm12. I like the milling on the 8. Anyone else think the older models seem to be more quiet?

I just picked up and old DM4 as a project... I'm excited to get it running and see what all you Dye-hard Dye fans are talking about... Lol I've been a smart-parts guy forever!

I just picked up a working dm4, and I hate to say, it's smoother than my dm13

That's because it's broken in vs the nearly new DM13. Put some paint through the DM13, it'll be just as smooth.
The engine hasn't changed enough that the DM4 is necessarily better in any way (other than the often mentioned extra weight helping with barrel rise, etc).
If I'm going to get something heavier to help with barrel rise, I'll run a stainless boomstick (or Ti) on a modern marker.

I would say the DM11. All the features of the DM with the NT grip frame. You can throw on a Billy Wing bolt (if you choose) AND an Eigenring.

Ezily teh dm13. The boltz window makes it shoot 10x more accurate.
