hey im getting back into speedball and I want to know what you guys thing of this set up.
-empire axe
-upgraded board
-dye hopper
-carbon fiber tank
-and barrel on the etek4
what do you guys think?

Save the money on the shaft barrel and get a old freak kit and don't buy a upgrade board as your first upgrade buy a infamous boss bolt instead

Don't get that board or barrel. Get the boss bolt, and freak kit. Also, what about your mask, pack, pants, etc?

No offense with you saying getting back into speedball it seems like you use to play when shockers were popular and you needed and upgraded board. With axes they are nice to have an aftermarket board to change settings but it is not important. Buy the boss bolt either one and buy a barrel first. And go from there

Screw the bolt. Screw the board....

Just get the axe, a lurker .678 and .684 barrel for it (might as well use/order lurker lube too, I did and its about the best)...... and then go sling some paint.

For a first time set up the stock axe is more then enough.. Will be a good set up though.

Lurker Paintball has an upgrade package which includes a Lurker bolt (actually changes airflow during firing action unlike Boss), Lurker barrel, and Lurker Lube which are all you will ever need to upgrade on your Axe unless you want a grip extender at some point.
