Ion performance drop-off issue.
My father has a stock Ion with a SpecOps Blackcell kit (don't think it matters but I'd rather not leave anything out.)
The last few times we have played, the marker shoots great at the beginning of the day, but throughout the day the performace drops to the point where the marker won't even cycle.
I know to check the following things, but I wanted input on additional causes as well.
1. Replace Battery
2. Lube bolt
Those two things have always worked for me in the past on SP markers, but I was hoping there was something else I was unaware of to check into.

How is the recharge rate from the regulator? If it's poor, you probably need to maintenance the regulator. If it's good, then that moves to the board.
It's usually unlikely, but check your lines to make sure that there is not built up lubricant blocking the passages.

Check your regulator, make sure your middle banjo is nice and snug (not too snug), it could also be cause by the tank being hot filled or shot to fast also. Little things can add up.

I've checked all that, and nothing has worked. I am pretty sure the board has failed somehow. It lights up, and beeps on trigger pulls..but the marker doesn't fire.

I would also have a local shop look at it before discarding.
