i use to have a Magpul AFG on my AR 15, and didn't like it much, it was too close to the gun i guess. it felt weird to me, so i sold it. i bought this foregrip thinking that it will be either vertical or not in use horizonal, but once i got it the way its pictured feels the best to me. very simular to a AFG but has a bit more distance from the gun and feels like im resting on my hand instead of me holding the gun straight.

i have a angled 45 degree rail attached to my sight, it places the sight just off the bottom edge of the spire.

Wasn't sure if you operated it like that but I see your point, I'll have to see someday if I prefer a lower angled grip like that..

I have a Etha as well but holding back on the EMC kit.
Just wish PE would make available a single trigger frame.

At first i was the same as you with the EMC kit, but i didnt know what to do if i did tactical paintball and need my red/green dot sight. so i bought it and then i decided to get a foregrip for it and glad i bought the EMC! Wish it was cheaper though, it seems like its not worth it.
about the single trigger part, i cant really say anything cause i shoot with my middle and ring finger with my index being on the side of the gun. (picture my index being on the MAG release of a rifle) so i kind of need double finger trigger.
