I dont own a house, so no lift for me yet
I havent touched my car since October 2011 other than moving it for paint. I want to work on a car bad!!
I am trying to choose between two ecus currently. One is pnp for $1650, the other is $1200 with flying leads which I would rewire the engine. My stock wiring is ****ty so its kind of tempting to just rewire it all since I will also be going to COP anyway.

Spun the #4 rod bearing in the truck so the car has been put on hold temporarily while I fix it. After the car is up and running, 4.3l vortec swap is in order for the truck.

Got my intercooler blockoff plate in today. Freebie ftw!
This just plugs where the sidemount intercooler goes so I can force the air to my trunk.

I'll probably head that way after I get my associates and go to UCF or USF. I could probably also go to FYU, I got a scholarship to go there.

You do realize it's a 350 with two jugs chopped off, right? I'd swap in a 350, but I'd like room to keep accessories and not heat soak everything. There are some things that chevy did with the 4.3 I don't care for (sequential fuel injection, anyone?) but you can fix most of those things with aftermarket stuff. Hell, local auto parts stores have a kit to convert from the sequential fuel to whatever the hell it's called with an injector per cylinder.
The vortec heads are all you really need, plus they've got roller cams. You can easily crank out 300whp with a light cam and some dome top pistons. If you want increased power, you can get dish top pistons and put a remote mount turbo and crank out 600-700hp easy.
Edit: I can understand why some people think gm stuff is crap. The older stuff is. But that's due to ****ty metallurgy in the blocks. If you have an older 350, you want the high nickel block. Late 90's stuff is fantastic, however.
