I just bought an Axe, and am looking for some good marker grease. I heard Pathogen Super Grease is amazing, but it's $15 an ounce. Meanwhile, other greases like GOG Paintball Grease is $15 for two ounces.

What grease is best for its price?

For an axe I have to agree that Lurker wins.

Hard to go against Dow 33. Others may be slightly better or slightly more specialized but you won't be doing wrong with Dow 33. Lurker live works well and it's a good value but I wouldn't go out of my way to use it over any other Dow 33 based lube. SP Sleek has worked well for me along with plain 33. Any of them should give good results.
