New dm owner, on the board when the eyes are on the rof is shower then when they are off how do i fix this please help

shouldnt be that way.
eyes ON/eyes OFF should be whatever the ROF is set to.

with the eyes ON, what color is showing? might be a pinched wire, or dirty eyepipe...

Cleaned eyes and eye pipe, change bat. I will check the wires

If you are shooting slower with the eyes on compared to the eyes off this mean you have an eye malfunction. i think the default bps cap is 8bps.

Correct. if you turn your gun on and it's blinking green or lit green it means eye malfunction

if you turn your gun on and it's red put your finger in breach it should turn green

The light is normal( no blinking)

If you turn the gun on and the LED is infact red and you put your finger in the breach and it's green your eyes are indeed working. if this is the case then my next thought would be it's a board issue, the early models of the dm12s has a issue like this it can be fixed by calling DYE and having them replace the board.

but before that make sure you have a fresh battery and make sure you set your ROF

When you say it shoots slower with the eyes on, are you shooting it with paint or dry firing? Because if you are dry firing and using your finger or something to block the eyes, it will register as an eye failure and cap your ROF as others have described.

Solid Red with no paint, solid green with paint, I will give them a call on Monday.

Yes I'm using paintballs
