Jealous of you guys in the League. I heard that Geoff is one of the coaches. He's an awesome coach and a really fun guy.

When is the next league starting up? Are there eventually going to be divisions instead of just an Open League? I haven't played competitively in over 10 years and would like to start out in a lower division to get back into the swing of things.

Sign ups should start by Sunday. # of divisions depends on number of sign ups. Draft is scheduled for 4/2/13, then different divisions play every other week. Info will be posted up by Sunday this week.

There are actually quite a few guys playing in the Advanced division now that are in the same boat as you, and I am getting AMAZING feedback from all the players.

I only played woods for 5 years and I don't dominate out there but I'm not getting creamed either.
There is a decent mix of skill on each team and team cohesion seems to be the winning element right now verses individual skill.

In other words, the League is the perfect thing to help you get back into the "swing of it." I plan to keep doing this as long as I'm able (or until Dusty kicks me out for not keeping my gun up...)

Back in the 90's my home field had a simlar league. It was a great experience, but we didn't have coaches.

I really enjoyed getting to develop my game and gain experience without the cost and stress of a formal tournament. I would have loved to have the coaching that you guys get.

I'm stoked that Danny has been doing this. I think it's great for the community and I hope that it continues to grow. I can't think of a better way to meet folks and get some coaching and experience some friendly competition all for a very reasonable price.

One of the biggest positives I have heard from those in the league is that it gets them on a competitive team. There are a lot of folks out there that want to get on a team and play competitively / semi-competitively but don't know how to get on a team. The solution: DBS League Night.
