Not nessesarily.
I have a late 90's Paintball Sports Magazine, in it is an article about college students setting up their quadriplegic friend to play.
More that once I've played with/against people in a wheelchair.
But as I stated, 54 & 25 years playing.
I routinely get together with guys who call ME the noob.

I'm just saying that's the only way I'll consider stopping. I've seen a few in 'chairs myself, including a local kid recently. I think it will be hard to keep me away regardless of the circumstance!

45.
We got beat by a team in Washington with a paraplegic on their team that needed to use 2 crutches to walk, so we would have him start in his bunker (right can), and he was supposed to start shooting after our guy made it to the can.
Well that didn't quite work, as he blew 2 people off of the break, not holding his fire, then it came down to to a 1 on 1, which he won. Now, you can't set your gun down in a tournament to get the flag, but he couldn't walk without using both hands on his crutches. Refs were stumped until our team was yelling from the dead box to give him the hang.
It's not about age, or physical condition, it's all attitude.

43, been playing on and off for years.
I have been trying to get my 13 year old son to play, but I think it is to much "work" for him. He would prefer to stay home and play Xbox. What can you do.
But my 8 year old is climbing the walls to go play with me. Kinda funny how different they are.

There's a guy at our field who's 71. He plays twice a week and he's extremely good.

51. Don't see any reason for quitting.
You are only as old as you feel. I asked a father who was spectating at the field last Sunday why he wasn't playing with his kids. He was probably in his mid 40's. He said, "maybe 10 years ago but I'm too old now". I didn't see any handicaps that would prevent him from taking part. I felt sorry for him having that attitude. Who does that?...make themselves feel older than they need to?

50, only been playing 4 years as my youngest son got me started when he turned 10. Don't see myself quitting any time soon - though injuries/muscle aches sure take ALOT longer to recover from than they use to...
