track shoes at NPPL
First off are the track shoes with the little metal spikes ok to use at NPPL events?
Also do they work well?
Field 1's turf was pretty slippery in vegas so i want to make sure.

Best option will be the HK Shredders. I dont think an ice rink could have been slicker than the Vegas Pro field turf and the HK shredders we used didnt slip at all.

I had trouble with my first pair, but I just got a new pair and they seem to be holding up better. Maybe it was a batch problem.

But in answer to your question technically no the meal spikes are not allowed. The real question is will they actually check because I have never had an NPPL ref check my cleats

they are crazy small, but they make a distinct "click-clack" sound on the asphalt that is under the turf and in the staging areas. Ive reffed NPPL in years past and usually the reffs will only check your cleats if we have a reason to
ex. having a brand new $1000 bunker deflating every match due to the new five point star pattern at the base of it
or if we hear the above stated "click clacking"
So feel free to risk the suspension if you want to but puma 5000m's as well as many other cleats have worked just as well as the metal spike track cleats
