i've read in another thread that the blinking x on a 2012 g6r oled means that the eyes are off but i've also read that it means that there's a ball idle here. so which is it? eyes have been replaced and it still does it. is my board bad? this is happening after firing a stream of paint. i can turn it off and on and it will clear but as soon as i shoot some balls i get the blinking x. fresh battery as well.

Are the eyes clean? If they are, take out the battery. If that doesn't solve it, you need a wiring harness.

Eyes are clean. Will buy and try a new battery tomorrow. What does the "blinking x" mean? A fault in eyes?

so i switched out the 4c eyes back to the 2c eyes and the x is gone. this is the 2nd pair of 4c eyes i'm on. is this just a coincidence or is there something in the harness or board that can cause this?

So he told me that with the new board, it is so efficient that the only time the 4c eyes help is for snap shooting double taps, open rapid fire the 2c are basically just as good. So there ya have it. and the X is just because of idle time and that's why it goes away when I shoot again. So I should have listen to Zach when he told me that I really didn't need the 4c...........but noooooooo I gotta have all the trick stuff, lesson learned , my bad
