I'm upgrading from my Spyder Sonix and was wondering if the G5 should be my next gun (and 1st electronic gun). I've seen videos and saw how easy it is to maintain. Is it worth the price?

It's definitely a good value marker. If you're tight on money, you should also consider buying a used G4 or even G3. You'll find no shortage of opinions for every marker out there, so if you can, hold and shoot one before you make a decision.

the g5 will be a great upgrade from your spyder. make sure to read up on how to maintane and what kind of grease to use.
