3rd time's a charm?
Hey folks,
I have a marker that's been ano'd twice already and I'm not happy with how it looks. Am I seriously running the chance of ruining it (mechanically) if I send it to get ano'd a third time?

What marker is it?
And as long as it is done by a good reputable company, there should be no issues.

There are way to many unknown variables there.
The only way to know for sure is to try it.
I have done my marq 4 times now and it still holds air. That being said I have done it myself and all variables are known.

^ Hmm true. So in the end the answer is "maybe, maybe not". Alright well I'll keep that in mind if I do decide to give it a shot. Right now the marker works great but cosmetically I'm not satisfied with it. In the end I'd rather have a functioning marker than a pretty wall-hanger so I might not bother trying again... who knows, we'll see. If I do decide to try again I'll post up here what the result is.

Like I said, more importantly what marker is it? If it is a spool valve, I would not worry about it. If it is something like an ego 7 and older, I would..

hmmm well, Is the bolt still tight? All the screws feel tight?
Usually you can tell when its time to call it.
How loose do the reg and barrel threads feel?

Bolt and screws feel fine but the barrel is iffy. The barrel seems secure once its completely screwed on but the threads don't feel like they have a whole lot of grip while threading in the barrel. IIRC the reg is good too. I'd have to pick up another bottomline because my Geardrive on/off knob sticks sometimes (wasn't a problem before re-ano).
