Buying my first luxe.
Well hello there!
I am most likely buying my first luxe this week and I got a question:
The current owner said he has had problems chronoing below 250fps, what causes this?
Anyone recognize the luxe btw?

Never mind the Luxe, who's the chick!!
You would have to be more specific about your chrono problem. I'm not sure why you would want to shoot below 250 though.

Well since there is snow and below zero(celsius) 5 months of the year, we practice with reballs, and the field limit is 220fps.
Current owner was talking about puffing.

Bolt stick can be caused by a number of issues. The 2.0 bolt will fix these issues. If you can't get that, then use minimal grease and raise your dwell and FSDO setting. I have the 2.0 core and chrono at 200 with reballs for snap cages without any issues.

The Luxe needs to be removed from the picture above for... further examination...
Anyways, I've just purchased a Luxe also! I am curious as to why you would chrono under 250... care to elaborate?

On a serious note, what's the serial? That might be one of my old ones. Take a picture of the inside of the breech too. Preferably still held by her.

Picked it up in the mail today!
She is looking clean, just one tiny anno flaw on the body!
Serial number: LXE5494
Got a few questions tho:
I cant seem to get the backcap "flush" with body", is this normal?
I couldnt really tighten the reg body together, if I did I couldnt fully screw in the set screw, so I just backed it out enough to do so, any problem with that?
I have to push in the charging port on the board to get the charger to enter, it is kinda bent inside the charging port, any fix for that?

sounds like it might have been mine. What's the breech look like? If its polished, it used to be mine.

Breech looks really clean, can't really tell if its polished or not, but IMO it's not polished, gun is really LNIB.

I've always had problems chronoing pretty much any marker below 250, it ends up massivly unconsistent, like i'll go from 250-180-223-264.
I'm pretty sure most markers are DESIGNED to shoot around 280.

As far as the reg body, yeah you can't tighten it past the point where the set screws no longer line up with the holes. You should be good.
Not to be mean, but your boobs don't look nearly as good as the original picture you posted. Just kidding, nice luxe!
