Hey guys, I just picked up an ANS phase II barrel and like the title states, it fits in the body terribly. There is a 1mm gap easy around the entire barrel to body. My 3 other barrels I can't even slip a paper between...

I already tried tightening the set screw for the barrel and it did nothing except make my other barrels not even fit, so I backed it back out to normal for fear of damaging it or my barrels.

Have any of you guys had this experience and have any tips to get this thing fitting better? I was thinking electrical tape but figured once paint hits it it will get all slimey and make a mess...

Any ideas?

your O-rings need to be replaced. If this is a twist lock barrel then your O-rings holding in the detent are bad and are causing the loose fit. try that. The O-rings will come with any automag parts kit.

They are brand new o rings and detents from a parts kit I got in the mail yesterday (literally) the barrel itself is physically smaller. When I put my dye stainless in the body I can't even slip a paper in between the body and barrel, same for my j&j and armson barrels... this Ans barrel is literally a smaller back diameter than all 3 of my other barrels

Just find some thicker orings or easy fix....tape

I did end up just taping it, I was just thinking after time the tape glue would break down and make the inside of the gun nasty... oh well

Use Teflon tape, no mess!
