Ccm t2 velocity help

So I have a ccm t2 and am having a problem, which might not even be one

So to get my t2 down to the mid 250's, I have the ivg all the way out and also my reg screw is coming out of the bottom about 1/4th of an inch.
And when it was in the 280's and I wanted it a little lower like 5-10 fps, I would have to turn it about 3 turns to get there

Is this normal or do I have an issue

sweet spot your reg and never touch it after that, you should only use your IVG for adjusting your velocity. the easy way is to set your reg to 300psi, back out your IVG all the way, and use your IVG to set your velocity.

back the reg and ivg all the way out. slowly turn up the pressure on the reg until you get a drop in velocity or you reach 300 fps and use the ivg to adjust your velocity.

no, it's not a spool marker. the ivg is called an internal velocity governor for a reason. I'd love to explain why you should never touch your reg, but i hate typing on my phone.

Basement is wise but you can build a pressure tester for cheap and I highly recommend doing it too

i can also be one mean prick as well. i built two different reg testers; one for high pressure (max 1500 psi) and one for low pressure (max 600 psi). I'll upload pics later when i get to the field.
