The axe has a better trigger, more streched out frame, on/off standard, easy bolt removal.
The mini is just smaller and cheaper.
If you can afford it go for the axe.

If you've got a little time, there are a lot of threads on this, just do a search. If not, just go buy the Axe.

Nothing against the Mini, but the Axe is the better choice with more features then the Mini has. Axe is easier to clean without tools and easier to remove the tank from the asa. Even if you added the Relay (asa) to the Mini you still need an allen key to disassemble it. Both are very popular at my field and we can't keep them on the shelves.

Yes, it has an ASA, it also doubles as the reg, but the Axe ASA has the on/off/bleed feature, the Mini's does not.

Basically, Noting this is not a Biased opinion in anyways

The Mini is a great marker for its' price, it's also a very tight setup depending on your tank. If you're wearing gloves you -May- have some problems walking the trigger because the trigger Guard is so small, Other than that they're almost the same in a sense despite the fact the Mini does not come with a Relay ON/OFF

Axe wise, I have an Axe right now and I use it for walk ons and it shoots great, you have a few more features available to it but no different grips unless you want to use Panels. It's basically a stretched out version of the Mini with a larger trigger Guard, Better trigger (In my opinion) And to me at least, a lot more comfortable.

As with everyone else, I'd advocate the Axe over the Mini if price isn't that big of a concern. Bottom line, go with the one that you feel shoots better, fits better in your hands, and has a good vibe to it when you hold it in your hands.

If you are gonna spend $325 for a new mini I say get the used axe at that price. But if you're on a budget then get the mini at around $140-$200 used.

Yeah which do YOU prefer? It's your hard-earned cash.

I personally got a Mini, and up'd it. I just like it's feel better, but that's me.

I got a used one really cheap, added a fiber barrel, Dye Rotor V3, adjusted the trigger, and added on/off ASA, and love it.

I own an Axe and play my buddy's mini often too. Both are great guns...the only thing I linke better on the axe is how you can pop the bolt out the rear without having to take the rear allen bolt out like the mini. Makes the gun quick to clean and get back out. However, you can add enough mods on both markers that will make it play the same.

i have both....my axe has a boss v2 bolt with short spring n virtue led board. shoots awesome, i dig the stock trigger with micro switch. easy to clean/take apart...though the back frame screw takes a lil longer since my allen key can't make a full turn (i can loosen the mini's back fram screw then unscrew it by hand....it's quicker imo)

i also have a nice up'd mini with lurker bolt, on/off relay, virtue eyes, violent series trigger, 2 piece .685 barrel n ape rampage board....shoots very nice and better than my axe only because i don't have a barrel for my axe yet

basically figure what your budget is, see if you can hold each gun to get a feel for them, then decide if you want any upgrades. you can't go wrong with either. but i do agree that if you're gonna buy a new mini, just get a used axe.
