Want to get back into paintball.

I have been so busy lately but for some reason I really want to start paintballing again. I have a problem though, I'm on a tight budget so I don't really want to get an electronic gun yet because I can't afford to shoot a lot. I really don't want to spend more than 150$ on a gun. I want a gun that can be used on an air all field and work well for milsim. That made me look at the gog enmey. It would work well for both milsim and airball fields. I have narrowed it diwb pretty much but what else do you guys reccomend? Hoppers? I already know I want a 68/4500 and ansgear has valken vmax's on sale for 60$

Check for a Used Vibe or Envy, you could probably find one quick. If not, go for the EnMY.
Get tht 68/45, cuz that will save you money in the long run.
I love Valken products, but I'm not a fan of the VMax, but for 60 that's pretty good. Try to find a Prophecy v2 or a z2. V2 should be about 70~80? Z2 might be 120? ( I own both and if you want a loader that is less of a pain to work on, get the Z2, if you wanna save the money, get a V2)

I am also curious of this. I have all my equipment still though. Have the insurance bs changed, field price and what not changed at all in the past couple years?

Well first of all welcome back.

You shouldnt get the enmy its absolute garbage get an eNVy spend the extra 50 bucks and actually be able to compete.

My setup is:
Gog eNVy (stock) just got it
Epire Helix Thermal Mask
48/3000 Tank
and Halo Too which is an awsome hopper

Awhile ago like a year back all I heard was good things about the vmax's, whats wrong with it?

personally, I would go with a used Halo as a loader. You can easily find one in very good condition on the nation for under $50. Have used these hoppers before and they have always been good operators.

Do not have much experience working with the GoG guns... but if they are like the original SP guns, make sure you maintain them well. I have shot low end SP guns (Ion, Eos) and they have been temperamental at best. On the flip side, SP shockers were great guns to shoot.

Best thing is to try and find something used on the nation, especially when it comes to guns. More than often new guns have a lot of problems (at least in my experience) and I prefer to get guns that are broken in and shoot flawlessly.

Just buy a fully upped Ion (not hard to find in the BST for under 150$) or a used 07/08 PMR (typically 90-130$).

What he said.... I recently sold a PMR that was in damn near perfect condition w/ all the plastic parts replaced with alum for around 100 shipped. I'd of honestly kept it but I had too many markers as it was and wanted the money for a mask.

Then you could get a halo, I jsut sold one for like 40

Get a good tank, 68/4500 can be used w/ your future endeavors, I sold a ninja that had been used like 3x's for 110... Thtas around 250 not including a mask....

The Enemy is a mech gun, a total waste to someone who used to play. At least with an Ion or something used, he will get more for his money as most of them are already upgraded and broken in. Used Halo - 40.00 all day long on most of the more popular pball sites. Swapmytank.com has good deals on used/refurb hpa tanks.

Funny. The only guns I use are mech guns. Automags. They never fail, and I have no problem holding my own against guys shooting streams of paint.

Also, the fields I play at, don't allow full auto anyway.

I say buy really good mask. I have an eflex I love it
A rely good hopper I have a rotor gen3 love it I got it for 149.99 free shipping no tax on ansgear. They always go up and down just keep an eye on it
And really good tank carbon. Like ninja tank. I have a crossfire 45/4500 BUT A NINJA PRO REG ordered that from ans for like 150 I think
