Rumble Points and "The Box"

Rumble Points will be locations on the field determined by the ref staff during the heat of battle that must be controlled. There may be multiple Rumble Points at any given time. A Rumble Point will be pointed out by Referees in the field.

"The Box" will be a clearly marked container that is placed at a Rumble Point. The first team to get a player to a Rumble Point and tag "The Box" wins the contents of "The Box". Contents may include, Nuclear warheads, Perks, The Diary of Anne Frank", or anything else I can think of! ...anything that helps your team.

Question: Wouldn't the statement, "Join the attack of the Black Hand" suggest that you are asking for assistance in fighting against the Black Hand? I could be interpreting that wrong but it seems to me that our enemy is campaigning for us.

Bar Walrus, as a member of the fighting forces of The Black Hand this coming March, I can only hope that you hold a leadership position among the opposing force.

To have the sentence above mean what you propose, the preposition for which you are looking would be "on." As written, the current preposition "of" connects the verb "attack" to the actor doing the attacking, The Black Hand.

Put another way, if you were to "Join the triumph of The Black Hand," it should be clear that you are celebrating the victory achieved by The Black Hand. This concludes today's lesson... (know that I'm just playing , but that the preceding English construction explanation is legit).
