Hey guys I'm new to the whole planet eclipse world and the geo 3... Been shooting dm's since they came out and wanting a change, can tech them in a heart beat.... But the geo 3 ha needing some help!! Any advice on personal gun setups of ur own? Anything will help, thanks.

Turn the knob on the side to where it slows the bolt down the most. Break it in with 10+ cases. Then over a chrono lower your dwell until you FOS begins to fluctuate then bump it back up by .5-1 ms depending on how bad it is. .5 if you are only +/- 8 or so when I begins to fluctuate 1 if you are +/- 9 or more. Geo is a simple marker.

What should I start the dwell at? It's basically a new gun an got it from another guy.. He has it set at 26?!?

Yeah that's stock I believe look in the manual and put it at stock

26.2 is stock. I would leave the SFR open for a few cases. I switched over from the DMs to the GEOs and it's a whole lot less o-rings to have around. I do miss the dye color o-rings though.

not a whole lot to tinker with. once u have it decently broken in, u can dwell tune it for a bit more efficient and softer/quieter shot. thats about it.

Planet did try whole color oring thing, it didn't last long from what I remember




The manual has a actual oring sizes so you can easily match them up with spares

well one can always use some of the dye orings but then u have to pay for whole kit

I thinks reason for planet going away from them was tolerances were not up to there standards

Yeah the quality of colored orings isn't really there.
