I am planning on buying the bigshot assault just wanted I know what you guys think?

It's a very good barrel, but keep in mind that it's a .690 bore, hence the name "bigshot", so smaller paint will tend to bounce around and throw your accuracy off, so I would recommend a bore sizer kit as well. I use a TechT iFit kit along with my 14" bigshot on my project salvo and it shoots fantastic.

This is simply untrue. No testing has ever shown an accuracy problem from overboring. However, overboring is less efficient and if using closed bolt (pump) it can get rollouts with all but the largest paints.

I believe there is other bore sizes available now in the Assault line from Lapco. I have the custom order .687 TM15 barrel that I actually run on my pump gun. Insanely nice barrel..super quiet and dead on accurate.
