Viking for scenario play
Hey guys, I run a heavy gunner setup..20+ pods, 90/4500 and am looking for the best air efficiency for the price which brings me here with a couple of Viking questions..
04' are the most efficient ?
I know they are old school so am hoping they are reliable and fairly easy to maintain?

I prefer my 03 over my 04. Another efficient marker is the 07 MacDev Cyborg. I generally take two of the following to scenarios, 04 viking, 03 viking, 03 excal, 07 cyborg. The 03 viking and 07 cyborg have proven to get aleast 8 pods and a hopper off a 45/4500. I got each of them for under 350 and have done minimal maintenance to any of them.

Thanks for the info Enfamous, I'm using a BT4 erc with a rap4 450round hopper for apex long balls but it's just a air hog and I really don't feel like hauling another air tank for extended shooting. I have a pm6 and valken proton but am going for maximum efficiency along with a pinokio hopper for either or. Thanks again!

We use to use our vikings and excals toplay big games and scinario's , rough estimate on the guns when shot was 3000rds of a 68/45 with a full fill.
shot great and where super efficient, if you can go with something not electric cockers are super gas efficient as well.
Parts will start to get low for the AKA guns, but there is a darn good supply of them out there right now as well.

i have played scenarios with a milled viking and an unmilled excal. both don't take long to weigh you down and make the game drag. i would highly recommend a sling or a lighter gun like a g6r.

Final setup will be 04 viking with a pinokio hopper, apex 2 barrel, 110/4500 bottle...am guessing I'll be able to get off 24 pods and a pinokio = 3810 balls with a 110/4500 or close to it.

I'm sure you could do some stuff with it. I think it needs a air ride seat though.

Well with a 110/45, I put 20 pods plus a pinokio with the nose attached through it. Could have shot more.

I've had my viking for 9 years and it's still giving people the business out here in boston, and THAT DUAL VIKING SET UP IS THE MOST AWESOMEST **** I HAVE SEEN.
been playing woodsball for geeze a long time and I usually just stick to my automag for those games, and when I'm warming up for speedball. I like the AKA and have fielded it a few times in the woods, but the on/off switch is tricky with gloves, and although it's milled solid, it's not meant to be in the woods for a prolonged 3 hour state
and if you do, I hope you bring a pistol for the day when you pull the trigger and see no little green light

I love the fact you got PANG PANG here. Takes a swede to make a dual viking setup ;D
Dude with a beard is a friend I play with every sunday and he is a lot of fun and he is making a PANG PANG mark 3 now. Ill try to get you some pics but this one will have some new features for sure.
