any hints on installing the v3 voltage regulator? I see where one end could plug in but not the other..kinda stumped
also still have issues with loose asa, if I tighten the screws that attach my Asa to gripframe, the on/off lever locks up and will hardly budge...I've explained this problem in detail to jay, bryon benini, and promod and no one has helped...promod you said something about a v2 "ground down" cam shaft I think...and benini had no idea what I was talking about.
I know it was touched on before but im having a pretty good leak coming from my FT screw and yes im positive it it that screw and not the back and I tried changing out multiple orings with no results
If it's from the FT screw, the solenoid might be stuck in the forward position. Shoot Tech@MachinePaintball.com an email.

Yea, looks like someone took a pair of pliers to it, but as long as it's not leaking it should be fine.

If they're shorting out on the body, that's bad. If not, don't worry about them.

One end gets plugged into the board where the solenoid is normally plugged in, and the solenoid gets plugged into the other end of the regulator. You're essentially wiring it in series.
And don't lie, I told you that you need a ground down cam shaft. I can send you one if you PM me your address

Also now no more barrel leak. It's now a grip frame leak. Checked those two small orings and lubed a tad and it still leaks. ...
No, that's normal; it means there's no ball in the breech. You should consider reading the board manual.
If it's leaking from the frame, and you have eye-wire damage, there's a good chance you pinched an eye-wire and it's causing the frame to not sit straight on the body. I suggest you make sure your eye wire isn't pinched.
yes I did send you my address under Pbn name Dbrimm and never recieved anything, I'll send it to you again, thanks promod...I hope that works because all jay could come up with us thread locker on the front asa screw or taking a dremel to it..
Oh yea !!!! Those vids!!! Thanx forgot bout them lol. What will we do without u hahaha
Spam machine instead of promod
Random note on o ring picks, if there's a gun store near you, see if they have a nylon set. Don't have to worry about scratching anything like metal picks.

I've been using tooth picks cuz I was afraid of scratching
Quick update: I still haven't received my V3 parts, and I can't update my tuning guide until I can test them out and see how my vapor needs to be re-adjusted.
Please stop messaging me about tuning the V3, I promise I'll do a full revamp of the tuning guide one I publicize my findings.
"Ok kids, heres the skinny on v3. Parts start shipping today. Here's a new plan from Machine.
1) Make sure your gun is registered on the Machine website, if you have an original v1 Vapor with no serial you need to send email to jay@machinepaintball.com to get it registered to you.
2) Send email to TECH@Machinepaintball.com with the subject line as "v3 parts", only thing you need in the body of the email is your name, the Vapor serial number and your shipping info.
3) We will reply to confirm we got your email, and ship out your stuff.
We had to modify the original plan because there are simply too many Vapors out there still registered to the old owner and have not had the registration updated by the new owner.
Just got my used vapor in the mail, hooked up my 4500lp to it and its absoultely PISSING air out the trigger/frame, anybody have advice on it? Haven't had a leak this bad in years
I'm hoping its something simple like a oring between the frame/body as Its a pretty hard marker to find info/anyone to tech it in ontario.
first off, I'd check your tank pressure to make sure it's BELOW 550 (I know you said it's lp, but I've had people call 650 lp)
Then I'd zero out the reg (turn the adjuster counterclockwise until you feel resistance), air up the marker, and slowly start increasing the pressure while dry-firing the marker. If it doesn't seal up once it fires properly, I'd make sure the frame orings aren't missing.
if it's still leaking air when the reg is zero'd out, the previous owner may have tried to adjust the reg tophat. I'd rebuild it, reference this video if need be:
So i got my vapor today and i have a myth reg. when i screw my tank in the pin is being pushed in with out me twisting the lever to air the gun up.
before anything crazy is done, push the pin in on the asa (make sure it isn't stuck in place and that the lever is ALL THE WAY to one side. sounds silly, I know. also make sure that the ASA core isn't in backwards... if you see a flat part instead of a thin pin, it might be in backwards)
If the pin on your tank isn't flush with the top of the threaded bonnet, there's your problem. you might consider shaving it down, or buying a Ninja reg.

It seems like the asa core doesnt sit flush in the asa
