Problem With Clone

So I took my GT out for the first time today and loved it, except for the small problem of it would only fire when I force fired it and then it would only fire 5-10 balls then I would have to force fire again. The only way I found to get around this was to turn the eye off but I dont want to risk chopping paint in the middle of a match. Any suggestions?

Have you moved the eye wires from stock position on the board? Make sure no lobe has built up into the eye sockets in the breach. Are the eyes lighting up?

How well does the Clone GT fire without an eye?

It shoots fine with eyes off.
Take the eye covers odf and pull eye wire to clean it on both sides.
