The GF's computer broke and she needs a new one ASAP as 4/6 of her college classes are online.
I'm going to going half with her to help her out.
All she does is homework, Facebook, and Netflix/Hulu. Basically she gave me $250 and said pick me out a computer.
This seems like the best buy with my limited knowledge

She's going to school for accounting.
That's not a bad idea, TBH. I could even get her a cheap tv so she would have a better way to watch Netflix, not on the 11 inch screen.
Which is why I wanted to get at least a 15 inch screen in the first place.
And it gives her an excuse to buy hdtv. She's rocking a 20 inch box with built in dvd player right now lol

HP just released a 14" Chromebook for $329.
You've also got the Samsung (11.6") for $249 (ARM processor, so it's not currently compatible with Netflix, but I'm confident they'll resolve that) - I've got this one
Then you have the Acer (11.6") for $199
Have her mess around with Google docs first, though. She won't be installing any local programs like Office on a Chromebook.
