So you bought the Empire package...asking if an empire tank....will work with an empire gun.....
Short answer = Yes, you'll be fine.
The Axe will take either HPA or LPA, all the LPA will do is extend the life a little of some seals, but I haven't noticed any problems running HPA on mine. I seem to be having, if anything, less troubles

All it says is "recommended". Anything in the range of 300-850 psi will work. If anything, Mid-pressure is what it says is optimal (4-500).
But again, Any standard Compressed tank will work. The only minute gain will be a slightly* longer gain in life of a seal or two. Personally I don't think going and buying a 40$ reg on top of a ~100$ tank is a requirement when it works fine either way.

Fixed that for ya Recommended =/= required
But in all seriousness, he's fine with what he has, seeing as that sounds like the Empire package I've seen a few places. (Would be kind of stupid for them to sell something in a package that wouldn't work doesn't it )

Axes are a lot like angels. The best shooters when it is warm but as soon as its cold they require so much tinkering and will not perform well under 40 degree weather. Just a little side note for axe owners. I played this weekend in TN and it was 35 degrees and my axe shoot very hesitantly and wouldn't ramp. Swapped it to semi and it still didn't perform like it should. Tinkered for about 20 minutes on input and board setting and it still lacked.

What lube are you using? I'm in New England and had 10 degrees last week. I let my gun sit outside for 5 mins before ripping a pod on psp and i could shoot a flea off a ticks *** with it.
