Team Asstastic, based out of Norwich, CT area, is looking to recruit Speedball players for the 2013 season.
Here's the deal...

We are looking to continue to build up our Tournament play for this coming year. We are recruiting players who are interested in 3 and 5-Man Tourney play, although if you play both, that's fine too.
We are scheduling practices at Providence Paintball for the remainder of the cold months., starting on February 6th. Once the weather breaks, practices will be on the weekends at Final Shot in Voluntown on a regulation PSP field, scrimmaging with other New England based teams. Tournaments played will be determined once we have a good foundation. Many of our current players are APPA registered Unranked.

We are a No Frills team. We dont require team dues, and we dont have a bunch of team rules. You play when you can play, whether its once a year, or once a week. The only mandates we do have is you have a team jersey, and have as much fun OFF the field as you do ON the field. We have no Sponsors that require you shoot a particular brand of marker, or wear a certain brand gear.
Our roster ages vary from 18-41 years old. Our home fields are Final Shot in Voluntown, Matts Outback in Coventry, Fields of Fire in Mystic, and Warzone in RI. We do NOT regulate ourselves to one field. We travel all around New England to play.

Curious on what events you guys play or plan on playing. Or is it just local stuff?

Right now, we are forming the team and recruiting players.
As far as Tourneys, that will depend on the team. Many of the current players are Unranked APPA. We did 3 tourneys last year, all of which didnt rank within the APPA system. We are definitely interested in the 3-Man BOLP series, Matt's Outback series, and possibly the NPS series. Despite a good reputation in Scenario ball, we are new to the Tourney play, so we are not shooting for the stars just yet. But we also are not ruling out anything at this point.

As far as the fornication possibilities... thats up to you. YES, those shorts DO exist, YES they are for sale (See my sig), YES our team name DOES cause a buzz when we show up to games, and YES, we have had beautiful women offer to wear them (weather permitted) at events for publicity. However, the team, and its members, make no promises as to your individual results.
