We use a yahoo web hosting service. You determine what info you want and they fill the form out and submit it. I receive an email when they book the party

We use a custom system we wrote. It does reservations, sends emails, sends another a few days before the event... if its a birthday, it gives me the ability to send an email a year later - inviting them back for the next birthday. The people choose from a calendar, and available times based on what parameters I want to set - for example, if more than 20 book in in any half hour period, that time slot is no longer available in the drop down for others.
It also gives me a graph with how many people will be at the field at any given time assuming each group is there for 2.5 hours (our average) but that is changeable as well. I can also use it to remove them from the list when they leave - and there is a space for admin notes.
Next we are working on an evite type of invitation system to incorporate with it. I can tell you... well worth while. Amazing how many people book in the middle of the night.
Feel free to hit our site, and do up a reservation, then in the notes section, just put "testing".
It will send you an email, and you can cancel it if you wish... or I'll just remove it the next day.

Yea, I was thinking of making it available to sell, to help off set some of the production costs I had... some of it I did, some was programmers I hired.
Give me a shout some time, and we can talk about it.

That seems like a pretty good system. I wanted the same thing ,but didn't want to fork over the dough for it. We have other systems in place, but uses man power of course.
I think it would be worth selling. And I'd pick it up if you were!

You really want something specific for paintball. If Larry is willing to offer it for sale, look him up. I feed myself on people paying fees at 2 AM in their underwear (albeit for tournaments ) - any way you can get someone to instantly give you money without a phone call is a good way to get money.

I use
http://www.partycentersoftware.com/
It's fairly expensive $2k/year and I have it integrated with my Debit/cc machine, which works well.
It also does employee time tracking, and POS from a touch screen.
Plus it works in Canada and the U.S.
They were at the PB Extravaganza last year.
It does work and has lots of features, that after a season, I still haven't tried them all.
Remote login, so with my smart phone, I can make bookings on the road and see how much room I have left.
Besides the price, it is a very good program, and I'm happy with it.

We use www.checkfront.com for handling reservations. It's $99 a month but worth the cost.

We're also going to be writing our own system because we haven't found one that works well.
One feature we're going to implement is a system for helping people organize their group; date selection, invites, etc. Facebook integration will be included too, so they can send invites via FB as well as make FB events. When people use it, we can be sure they've been sent all the relevant information and waivers.

We're in the process as well of developing a paperless waiver and registration system. Hope to have the first version wrapped up and released April 1

Yea, I'm adding a e-sign waiver to mine this week.... Then it will database the info. And drop it to our touch screen computer POS so we can just mark off the ones that show up.
