Homemade paintball marker

So I'm making a homemade marker. I don't really need help making it, rather whether or not it will be allowed at fields. I've seen that as long as it is regulated it is fine no? I need to know because I have the body finished but havnt made the internals yet

If it is able to shoot the required FPS i cant see why it wouldn't be allowed. but then again what do i know

check with the field or fields you were planning on using it. technically one field could say yes and another no.

How do you plan on making a "homemade" marker? Are you going to machine everything from the body, reg, trigger frame, asa, barrel aswell as all the internals and electronics OR are you going to machine a body and just buy everything to put on/it it (similar to many people who do it with autocockers, spimmys, shegos etc etc)?

Not sure why a field would say no if it works, right FPS, right BPS, and shoots 68.

So I decided not to, I asked at southern maryland paintball and they said they would not and most others would not either. Apparently a couple years ago some guy had his homemade marker blow up in his face mid-battle and it has kind of... Not been allowed in a lot of places since Sorry guys, the thing that originally stopped me was the jackass construction workers renovating the back of my house broke the handle off one half of it, I may take some pictures of what I still have an post them anyway, just for the sake of showing off what little progress I made!

Why do so many fields not play with both .68 AND .50? If anything they could separate the people playing with the different calibers... Plus, it would get so many new people into the sport because of how much cheaper it is

Around here the explination is that they don't want to have to stock both .50 and .68 paint. But people are free to use what ever caliber they want on BYOP days.
