Question What type of lens do you prefer?

I am looking to buy empire e-vents and im not sure if the dark lens they come with will be okay. I have never owned tinted lenses, but on another note I will be playing woodsball during the day (12-4pm) so a tint may be okay.

What do you think or prefer?

I use tinted lens when I play woodsball and speedball (flex lens are too big of a pain to change). I've never had any problems with them.

I'm wearing clear indoors or an amber and some form of mirror outside

Personally, I like to keep 3 lenses. Clear, amber/yellow, and a mirror/smoke. Clear is great indoors and depending on how well you can see better for yellow paint. I honestly don't like playing a tourney unless I have a clear lens in case I start doubting my eyesight which has cost my team a few points where I couldn't tell the difference between stained fingers and a yellow hit.

I like smoke/mirror for bright days since it'll darken it quite a bit and you won't have to worry about sun glare. If you're going to be playing woodsball I'd suggest a yellow/amber lens or just a clear lens though.

i use a clear lense for those cloudy days when the sun isnt out/dark-night games, and i mainly use a mirrored lense for the bulk of the time...i also like to use a visor..you dont have to out your hand over your mask too...those are about $7 new from ansgear.com...

I prefer fade lenses, but i don't think those are available for E-vents. But the stock smoke lens isn't that dark, i think you'll be fine. Really, the only condition you can't use those in is night games.

For outside sunny conditions I use mirrored lenses, in lower light conditions such as clouds and what not I use clear or yellow.
