My luxe 1.5 with 2.0 internals gets close to 9 pods on a full tank.

^^^

With a good fill you should be able to get that. Depending on the vent you play, you and the quality of the fill you may want to explore larger tank options.

At Chicago this year, on a 1.5 with all 2.0 internal's, I was shooting 8 pods and I had about 1500 psi left on a Ninja 68/45 Pro with 550 output.

At World Cup this year, on a new 2.0, I was shooting a hopper and 9 pods and I had about 1800 psi left on a Ninja 77/45 Pro with 550 output.

Both gun's were shooting about 275fps. Your efficiency really depends on how your gun is set up. You can't go wrong with the Luxe.

Damn!
What were you running the rest of your settings at, board, paint/barrel match etc? These guns were well broken in? Whats your oring fit like? Just curious to know. Thanks!

Just picked up the 77 dura. I think it fits better in the shoulder than a 68 for me. I'm a big guy.

With a 68, I have experienced the same as described in Cali with the FT in and stock settings on a new 2.0 through 8 cases.

I am waiting to see with the 77 dura. Haven't played yet with it. My field rarely has full 4500 psi fills. Usually 3800-4000.

For those that haven't tried the 77, its slightly longer length wise than the 68 dura. I have both. I can post pictures tomorrow night when I get off work with the difference between the two tanks.

(15 mins later) I couldn't wait, I went ahead and photo'd and uploaded pics!

I just measured it out and the 77 dura is about 1" longer than the 68 dura.

Rather than bragging about how much YOUR Luxe can shoot, I think it's more helpful to present the OP with normal/average Luxe efficiency. A properly functioning Luxe can reliably get right around 8-9 pods (no hopper) off a good fill with a 68/4500. Some will do better than that, but I wouldn't count on it. If you aren't getting full 4500 psi fills, you may not be able to get 8 pods without going with a larger tank.

The Luxe does ergonomics and brittle paint better than any other marker in my experience, but it has so-so efficiency (similar to DM's, Geos etc).

All you guys getting 8+ pods with a 68, i hate you.

I get a hopper and ~4-5 pods. I also have it tuned for the smoothest shot though..

my luxe is damn smooth and I still get 6 pods and a hopper of a hot 4000psi fill in the winter.

i get right around 7 pods and a hopper with a 3500 - 3800ish fill. so i could prob get 9 with a full 4500 fill.

You will be fine with a 2.0. Super smooth and efficient enough for xball, which is exactly what I play

That kindve efficiency you might want to take a look at your can/sail orings. Even set for the smoothest settings, you should be getting a good bit more
