Cause, bob kurgan, told me I could get into the 8's on drag radials with these heads. He did it so why wouldn't I believe him? And also at the time I built the car, my goal was just to go 9's on drag radials for true street.

I find that hard to believe, sam would have told you point blank those heads are too small for that combo.
Hell the heads on my n/a engine which he suggested flow 350cfm at .700 lift.

to add to the thread my best time in my all motor civic when it was a street car was 11.3 @ 119. trying to shave a second or more off that now withe the new motor and in race car trim. only have a 6 pt per the rules.

He didn't suggest them. I already had them. Actually just talked to sam about a week ago about upgrading the heads. He said he thinks it actually the rpmII intake that's holding it back even though it's been opened up and ported.
