Thanks I love them both! I agree with you, the newer ones are milled to the bone and lack that unique look. I hope to get a 05 Mantis and a 06 XSV sometime.

lol, early 2k milling ftw as far as I'm concerned, they're heavier and have thicker frames, but I love guns from those times, BL and PE especially

Well if you really want to get in to it, I named my Dark Lucy in 08 before you even started playing! I had just decided on Alice for the Nexus, haven't even had it a week yet. I really like the Species, Dragon, Ripper, and Ironman. I wish PE would bring back the old school splashes like the bonzai green and the black, red and silver splashes.

i am up to 5 mantis egos about to venture out def looking at darks and nexus now and maybe a xsv lol

Wow thats impressive, I love the Dark milling and the Nexus is very nice too. The XSV mas some nice milling as well but I love the green yellow Mantis'.

Ya they are, but they seem to hold their value better then any other 05/06 Ego, probably due to the very limited number of them made. I know there were more of the black/green ones made and those are around the other PL prices. The green/yellow ones I like usually go for a pretty penny though.

That looks like a dark trooper. Its got the warped sports grip frame.

It actually use to be a pink trooper Nexus before it was parted, built again with black parts and sold to me. Dark trooper is the black body with white parts, and light trooper is white body with black parts. Also all the later Nexus' had the Star/Dark frame with the bottle opener, not just specific to a certain color scheme.

Nexus needs that OG bulkier eclipse 2 piece. 06 was a great ****ing year for guns.

Back when Planet Eclipse still knew what "Private Label" meant. I miss those days.

I remember wanting a Nexus so bad when they first launched. The original Egos were by far the best.

Ya they have made a few actual milled PL Geos like Vicious and most recently the Dark.
