Alright guys I know finals are coming soon, but i may want to get another session of balling in before this stressful stuff. This week is not busy for me, and i will get a little done each day. Anyone else abel to do the same? I know some of you guys will have to cram during the weekend because you have tests this week.

okay reviving this thread haha. So unfortunately UM did not approve our school as a club :/. But as of now we will still be competing at Nationals  . The problem we face at the moment is that we only have 4 players, so anyone who it is at all interested in playing with us for nationals, please let me know. You do not have to attend UM, only requirement is that you must be a college student.

I am not sure if you are allowed to have just any college student playing for an NCPA team at Nationals. You migth want to check it out with Chris.

ah yes you're right. I forgot that you can have a free agent for regular events, but nationals must be all same school players

I did actually have a descent amount of interest from people. Just I am extremely busy at the moment and don't have the time to go through organizing / applying to rec sports department

At this point I only have a few more months to go in school here at UMiami. I just have time to go back to the fields and get back into the sport. I don't know if I can go through the app process myself. Especially after the results we got from the administration the first time around.

Find some grad students, maybe even JD students. Show that it's a diverse crowd, not just a bunch of younger guys. See if you've got anyone involved that's dean's listed. Make sure they don't see it as a distraction or "just a game." Ya gotta sell it.
Focus on the team building aspects, athletic demands (you've gotta be in shape to be competitive these days, and point that out, obesity is a problem these days). Hell, point out that it's stress relief and makes students spend time and money on it instead of partying and alcohol. |

Any idea how to pull off an agricultural research grant to pay me to go to UM instead of FIU for grad school in the fall? I can't justify the extra cost to go to the u, but I've dreamed of playing in orange and green since I snapped my leg like a twig in 2004 and lost the 75% offer I had to play football... With degrees in electronic engineering and landscape architecture, I could represent the diversity of paintball players to the administration.
