G-1 settings for QEV and Firebolt

Hey guys, quick question.
ive got a black heart G-1 coming in and i've got a firebolt and QEV coming with it.

I'm not much of a tinkerer, so i was wondering what is the ballpark dwell setting for those parts that will give me a reliable shot while still taking advantage of the upgraded parts.

Im probably going to keep the gun capped at 13 BPS so speed isn't really a concern for me either. Thanks guys!

Turn dwell down all the way, then back up 15 clicks. Shoot a few (chrono if you can), see if you get any cycling issues. Tune up as necessary. 20 should be the highest you need with just the qev.

I'm going by ion numbers specifically, but all the ion variants should be close enough.

Ive got my G1 set to 17ms. The lowest possible cycling dwell I can get is 13ms with the same setup as you. You may be able to get lower. I would check it out yourself. Once you get the lowest possible dwell the marker can cycle add 3-5 ms to it to get your final dwell. i added 4ms to 13ms to get 17ms final dwell. It works great for me.

thanks guys. my critical dwell was 11-12, so i just went straight up to 17.
im sure i could go lower, but it got to the point where i was actually trying to slow the bolt down a bit.
