I'd find yourself a chrome reg, chrome (smaller) drop forward, and a chrome slide frame....... I actually have a chrome CP drop w/ on/off ASA for sale, and a chrome BM regulator.....

Need some feedback, should I go with the black or silver Shocktech ASA????? I'm leaning towards black but silver might look just as good

Chrome! No silver, no black...... chrome ASA and a chrome HPR since your trigger frame and front pneumatics are chrome.

Hey Durk85, check out my avatar. I still have it. A shocktech hookup with original parts. Don't use it as much as I like to and it doesn't have that air tank on it anymore either. I love these old guns. It was the second gun I ever owned and I've had it since 2001.

You should be able to find a decent benchmark or dye slide frame in the b/s/t or ebay. Probably around $50-60 shipped with internals. I love my shocktech as well. She is a keeper.

Is there a secret to getting the 45 plastic elbows to stay tight???? I feel that if I tighten them anymore, its gonna break but its not quite tight enough. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Great looking Vortex btw

These are what I run: http://www.hustlepaintball.com/APP-Atomic-Elbow-7-8-in
Make sure to buy the hose clamps too if you don't have any. This elbow is super durable and has a soft, grippy rubber/plastic feel to it. Does not slip what so ever and doesn't break like the cheesy hard plastic elbows.

Here is the Atomic Elbow again: http://www.allenpaintball.com/misc.html
Scroll down a little and you'll see it on the right, the hose clamps are below and to the left of it.

Try calling Shocktech if you want one of their slide frames for the gun. They had a lot of raw 09 SFL frames for sale on eBay awhile back and still might have some. You would have to get it anodized to match your gun or just gloss black, but it would be a Shcoktech frame on a Shocktech gun. It's hard to find any nice slide frame in gloss black, most are dust. If you do get a slide frame, at least try to find a Shocktech trigger plate to go in it. They work great in any nice slide frame with the Bomb.

Leaks aren't normal.
Oring kits are all over. Figure out what LPR model you have, and then go through and replace all the orings.

It looks like you have a Shocktech FGP LPR, but it could be a Palmer Rock LPR. If it's the FGP there is only 1 oring in the entire LPR and it's on the piston. I cannot remember the size of the oring, but I think it is pretty large/thick. I suppose it could also be the shrader valve in the rear of the LPR, but I doubt it unless the pin on the shrader valve is bent. The front portion of the reg should just unscrew from the back portion and you will be able to access all those parts. You might have to remove the hose fitting on the LPR before you unscrew it. If it's the Rock LPR, you'll probably need to buy a rebuild kit from PPS.
