Empire Sniper on a Ninja 13/3000 tank

Anyone know how many shots I can get on a Ninja 13/3000 tank with the Empire Sniper?

130....Didn't expect that. A bit of a air hog. Is that number correct?

It would be like 680 shots on a 68/3000 tank using the same ratio.

Even with a fairly efficient marker you'd be lucky to get higher than 200 from what I've seen. That sounds about right. 130-160, depending how full your actual charge was.

160 is better than 130. I guess I need to make sure I sweet-spot the reg when I tune it to squeeze out more shots. thanks.

If you dial in your reg/IVG you should be able to get 200 easily. But most people just run a lower pressure and softer spring tension for an easier pump stroke, which can reduce your efficiency quite a lot.

With a heavier hammer, you can usually run a more efficient pressure while still keeping the spring tension low. Will result in a bit more kick, but that's not really an issue with a pump.

That is an average, some may get more/less depending on the set-up. I shot one last week. I took 100 rds with me out on the field to play against some renters, had my friends sniper w/ the .685 bore and a 13/3000, they all had rental a5's with 48/3000's. I shot all 100 rds, plus had about 600 psi left in the tank.

I own several cockers for years. No problem for me to set up.

Just wished Kee used a real WGP valve instead of a Piranha. I have a few spare AKA that could have been a sweet upgrade.

Hey, Warlord,
Does your bolt clear the breech when the hammer catches the sear, or do you need to pump it further back after it catches?

13/3000 is quite the small tank. 130-160 seems legit. A friend of mine can't even finish a standard hopper before running out of air on his Alpha Black. Tuning the sniper and making adjustments may allow you to get up to 200 shots per fill.

An Alpha Black is also not exactly what anyone would call efficient :\

I haven't had that problem yet.

Thats because the Alpha Black (Model 98) works off a higher operating pressure then the Sniper therefore it uses more air per shot.
