Just rcvd my vapor. Bought knowing that there's a leak coming out of barrel. Which is fine cuz I've been reading every one the posts about the vapor in the forum lol. Started with taking the bolt out out and noticed there's an oring missing from the yellow can compared to the picture in the manual. Is that the 017 feedneck oring?? I see the front one but there's no back one
Different from this

No the can looks good it has the right orings but yes they are 17s on the inside as well, its probably your main seal the 13 that's in the photo about that goes into the bolt. try lubing it up and if not then try to replace it, your can is straight though.

how do you take apart the rest of the bolt?? like the latch and bolt guide?
and how do you get the feedneck oring out of the body?

wait, stop!
ok, so take the bolt out of your gun and put it aside.
Now, look into the feedneck; if you look towards the front (where you screw in the barrel) there should be an oring. If you look towards the back (where the bolt normally sits) there should be another oring. THAT's the feedneck oring, the one you're looking at is the front can oring (which seals the shot chamber off from the sail oring)
The other possible leak would be from the front bolt-guide oring.
ALSO! I've been getting a LOT of messages about V3 parts and the tuning guide. The timings will be different (higher dwell/bolt return) but the concept is the same; I'll be updating the tuning guide soon enough (read: once I get my hands on V3 parts)

Same way you get the orings out of any other internally groved marker; use an oring pick

ha! we make a good combination xD
If you're really desperate, you can get away with a toothpick, but you gotta have small fingers :/

using a toothpick works too alot of the time if you can't wait, it is gentle enough you can press hard on the groove and it won't scratch but just lift the oring out

If it's out the front of the bolt, it's either the feedneck oring, or the front BOLT GUIDE oring....the sail isn't going to cause an otf leak.

yep, that's the one! Are you absolutely sure it's leaking out the bolt? (does pushing the bolt around cause the leak to slow down or speed up?)
slight wear there is normal for any marker with a floating bolt guide.... (shocker/luxe/vapor/clone/droid/etc.)

For anyone interested: pick sets (4-5 picks) at sears(or take your pick of stores with hardware sections) sell for roughly $5; also, dental picks can be bought in pairs at the dollar tree...

any hints on installing the v3 voltage regulator? I see where one end could plug in but not the other..kinda stumped
also still have issues with loose asa, if I tighten the screws that attach my Asa to gripframe, the on/off lever locks up and will hardly budge...I've explained this problem in detail to jay, bryon benini, and promod and no one has helped...promod you said something about a v2 "ground down" cam shaft I think...and benini had no idea what I was talking about.
