well i posted here a ew weeks ago about a sl8r not going over 240, so i just replaced the two diaphragm by looking at the manual, and aired it up and went to chrono it, its all over the place... 284-287-259-265-277 etc, how do i tell if i put them in wrong? i also cleaned reg and replaced the 015 oring on hpr piston

what paint are you using? bore on barrel too? what other work have you done to the gun?

689 bore, and paint is some hotspot, nothing too fancy, it's a low grade,

I've cleaned the entire gun, oil'd the rammer, oiled the bolt, the basics, and installed new QEV DIAFR.

well it seems like you did everything right. if you have no leaks, try shooting a higher grade fresh batch of paint over the chrono maybe with a 685 or correct bore size and see what that does. your numbers got substantially higher after you fixed the gun so it seems like **** paint

Will try that, but how do i tell if I installed it correctly? would it leak? as it's my first time doing this replacement
