I would say because you might be putting to much air pressure into your marker.

the dart kit is to improve efficiency so your can decrease the hpr. make sure your valve is install the right way as well, put the lpr back at 2 turns in as well.

Did you oil the valve guide orings before you put it in the marker? I also gave my bolt orings an initial coat of oil and then wiped the excess off prior to chronoing the marker for the first time. If anything you should have to turn your hpr DOWN after the install of the dart kit. I had to turn mine down 6 full turns in to get back down to 280

also make sure you put the dart bolt in and not accidentally put the cure3 back in there. I experimented with the dart valve in (out of curiosity) and using the cure3+ and u max out the hpr just to get it to 260+

Plenty of people with opinions, settings, and even Jack Woods himself chimes in. Even a step by step installation to fix your maxed out reg problem, chances are your valve body is backwards.
hope this helps

That is because the Cure3+ doesn't have enough energy to force open the valve like the Dart does. Which is why Planet Eclipse says to use it as a kit.
