I'm pretty sure the Rev-i and FX boards have the same layout (screen location, screw holes, switch, etc. I'll have to double check but I'm pretty sure they are. I think the only difference will be a cut-out for the screen and a cutout for the buttons. Will need to get a Rev-i/FX plastic screen cover for the frame.

FX board:
Rev-i board:
I think the button positions are slightly different (with the FX buttons being a little more towards that big ol' capacitor) but all else is the same I believe.

Maybe, but I would want it in the frame anyway. I don't like those screens in the grip deals.

Well, THAT takes care of that idea. Maybe he ment that it physically would fit but not necessarily a straight drop-in with only a trigger change.
