You were all so helpful with my HP / LP question I thought I'd ask another.

I called Dye yesterday to talk about their tech service and what I should do before I send my gun in. I then mentioned I want to get it anodized. The representative I talked to on the phone, who was kind of rude and didn't really seem to want to talk to me in the first place, said that the NT10 really should not be anodized because the temperament is too small, or something like that.

So, the question, is it safe to anodize my NT10?

Manufacturers are always going to recommend against getting a marker re-anodized. It does change the tolerances and they will not warranty it.

That being said, many people have done it, most have not run into problems.

and if your going to get it re-annoed make sure you get someone with a good rep and lots of experience this will minimize your chance of running into tolerance issues.
