Day before the superbowl lineup at a place not too far from me:
i would definitely try the Zymatore Saison d'erpe mere. its an amazing saison on its own, and that one is aged in(and possibly served from) calvados barrels from a very old and prestigious vinyard in france. also the Du De Ciel Peche Mortel and Tilquin Gueuze are incredible.
i suggest you try at least one of those if you go.
Mmmmmmmmmm Odell IPA's are so delicious. I've been spending all my money on greenery recently, neglecting the drinking hardcore. I will say though, when you're used to drinking fairly regularly and stop, the taste of a good IPA or stout is literally to die for.

Elevated is probably my favorite beer, so I'm always pushing it on people haha. But for $10.70 including tax per 4-pack, and being available at gas stations around here, make it a constant in my fridge.

I miss having Odell beers available on the shelves Their IPA is very solid and they make so much good beer. They're very picky about their beer because they want it to be drank fresh which is why they maintain a somewhat small footprint. They've grown but I don't think they'll be coming to CA anytime soon

If you ever want some Odell just let me know, I'd be happy to help. We always get a nice sized allotment of their special releases, and they tend to usually stick around for awhile since they run a couple bucks more than other similar beers.

friend of mine asked me if i could make him a racer 15 clone, since we dont really get it around here. gotta see if i can find a recipe.
been drinking some good brews lately, just havent been posting much. Among them were Clown Shoes Flight of the Pimp, SN Narwhal, and a Wachusett Box o' Brews for the game. Chu beers consisted of country ale, IPA, Green Monster IPA and Larry IIPA. twas an awesome box of beer.
tried my latest saison yesterday as well, which came out pretty damn good, nice and dry with good carbonation. nice dark golden color, with a great saison flavor, still needs something though. im thinking the brett will fill the gap on the other batch but the non-brett recipe needs some kick, might add some sazz hops near the end or some rye to spice things up.
trying to figure out what to brew next, might be brewing this weekend.
Boulevard Irish Ale hit shelves a week or so ago, and I finally got around to getting some over the weekend.
