I have 2 questions, will the gt noid work in my vx? And will the performance be any better?

No it will not. You can look at a picture of a GT solenoid and it will show very clearly that it won't even mount to the body in the first place.

We have just made a new noid for the droids-clones.
It has the same coil and piolet bolk as the GT so yes you will see a differance in performance.

Can you speculate on what kind of a performance increase one would see switching from a standard stock VX solenoid to this new "GT" style solenoid?

And is the new solenoid listed on your website the one under Clone VX parts?

Here is the new noid.

Stonger coil, new designed piolet block.
Better Efficiencys
Lower running pressures
More consistant over the chrono.

Yes if you have ordered a new solenoid in the last couple months or so this is what you would of received.
Macdev has moved the entire line to these style solenoids because of the performance and reliability .

Awesome to hear! That just saved me 100 bucks. I have yet to test it out with paintballs though. I will most likely try it out tomorrow with paintballs and see how it goes. And I'll let you all know if i manage to see any difference between the old and the new noid regarding Efficiency/consistency and so on.

I dont know what pressure i was at with the old noid, and i do not have anything to measure the pressure at this time. Can't wait to try it out though!
