Been Out Awhile
Hey guys some of you may remember me. Anyways I was crusing some of the sites of old and I see that Dangerous Power now has new REV-i colors. Is this some new version of the marker? I thought they had quit making them. What is the scoop on em?

yeah... APE got mad at them for doing something stupid, and said "**** you, you guys can't use our boards anymore". 7th element boards suck.

As stated above, they use 7thE boards. DP decided to make their own boards and put them in, ripping off Apes programming (just like they did with the FX). DP realized they couldnt make the boards as well as they wanted so they went to 7thE (the deal was obviously less expensive for DP with 7thE than Ape) |

Sorry for the late response but with the holidays things have been crazy. Yeah I am doing well now man. Got through the divorce and loosing my house so I basically have a fresh start. If they are using the 7e boards than I will be sure to stay away from them lol.

What was the deal with 7e?
I know APE is Excellent.. Bu tI have dealt with 7E a few times and have been impressed.
They went back and updated the G3 boards as well to fix the complains (increments adjustments, etc). I mean they did this well after the G3 had come and basically gone so there was not a lot financially to go through and fix the prior shortcomings..
Again 7E has been good to me so far, maybe I missed something?
Or is it more down the line a rep or something got on PBN and then the whole company "sucks" because of it?

Lol go back into the PE forum where you belong. DP has never used ape boards on the FX. They dont make them for the revi because dp tried to copy there boards for the FX. thats why the new revis have 7E boards now.

no actually they stole the software from ape and are using it without permission. if APE was bigger than the two man show that they are, they would do something about it.

The 7E board in the Rev-i wasn't that bad. Except for a minor problem, i just asked DP to switch the board for me to the APE and they did, no big deal. It helps that i live down the street.
AFAIK DP still has APE boards available for the REV-I and FX.
The FX Board by happenstance fits the threshold trigger frame with an E1 trigger, though cutting the frame to see the screen would suck, and Nobody likes the E1 trigger. Ohwell.
